Beyond the Myth Special Screening (Knoxville, TN)

Mark your calendars for Sunday, November 14!!

The student chapter of the Animal Legal Defense Fund at the Duncan School of Law (University of TN) is hosting a special screening of the documentary, Beyond the Myth: A Film About Pit Bulls and Breed Discrimination.

I have yet to see the film, but I am told by Libby Sherrill, the film’s producer) that I have the last word…(which shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone who knows me!) Needless to say, I am excited to finally see the end result of the hard work and efforts that Libby has put into the film over the last couple of years.

After the screening, ticket holders are invited to attend a reception with food, drink, and guest speakers.

Advanced tickets are available exclusively at http://www.beyondthemythmovie.com. ($10/adult; $7/student (ID required)). But don’t wait…this is a limited seating venue, so be sure to get your tickets soon!

The screening starts at 2:00 p.m. (EST) on Sunday, November 14, 2010, and will be at the University of Tennessee, McClung Museum Auditorium, 1327 Circle Park Drive, Knoxville, TN. Driving directions can be found at this link: http://mcclungmuseum.utk.edu/about/directions.shtml

Hope to see you there!
