City Councilwoman Debora Coehlo has once again proposed an ordinance that would regulate the ownership of “pit bulls” in New Bedford, MA. She previously proposed a similar ordinance in June 2010. At the April 14, 2011 council meeting, Coelho filed a motion requesting two council subcommittees look into a breed-specific pit bull ordinance.
