A public hearing will be held tonight in Overland, Missouri regarding the city’s pit bull ordinance.
I spoke with the Overland city clerk on October 25th to get some clarification as to what exactly will be discussed during the public hearing. The clerk advised that residents want to discuss the pit bull ordinance and the possibility of repeal. Please note that this is currently not an agenda item for a city council meeting, but the residents would like to see it come before the council.
If you are in the Overland area, please make every effort to attend the hearing tonight to show your support for the residents attempting to repeal BSL.
The public hearing starts at 6:30 p.m., and will be held at City Council Chambers at Overland City Hall, 9119 Lackland Road, Overland,MO.
