Bless the Bullys is pleased to announce that this year’s National Pit Bull Awareness Day is October 27, 2012. This is the sixth year of celebration, and we’re happy that several events have already been registered across the country, as well as Canada!
National Pit Bull Awareness Day (NPBAD) is a day of appreciation and education designed to change perceptions and stereotypes about pit bulls and their responsible owners. NPBAD was established to educate and foster positive communications and experiences in the communities in which we and our dogs live, and it is an initiative dedicated to restoring the image of the American Pit Bull Terrier and “pit bull type” dogs.
You are invited to learn more about NPBAD and to register your own event by visiting our new website, www.nationalpitbullawarenessday.org.
In keeping with the National Pit Bull Awareness Day tradition, your event is entirely up to you! Have fun, be creative, educate, and make a difference right in your own community! Whatever you choose to do, please celebrate the great American pit bull terrier and educate your community about this very misunderstood breed on Saturday, October 27, 2012!
