NY: AB3952 passed in the Assembly Insurance Committee!

The New York Assembly Insurance Committee APPROVED Assembly Bill 3952, a bill that would prohibit insurance companies from canceling and/or raising the premiums of a homeowner’s liability insurance policy based on the ownership of a specific breed of dog.

AB3952 has been referred to the Assembly Codes Committee.

NEW YORK RESIDENTS: Please contact the members of the Assembly Codes Committee and encourage them to pass this bill in order to prevent insurance companies from discriminating against dog owners, an action that creates undue hardship on responsible dog owners.
